Columbus Fashion Rebellion is also a protest against Housebill 249 and the rising Transphobia plaguing our country. 

HB249 sets a ban on "Indecent Exposure", on section 4 (a) row 5 on page 7, it includes "performers who exhibit a gender identity that is different from their biological sex" as an "Adult Cabaret Performance"

This has very upsetting implications, and we believe this will be used to disproportionately target trans women and people of color, regardless of if they are performers or not.
